Mariyah Zahid - Founder Words And Beyond:

Mariyah, founder of Words & Beyond ASLT, holds a Bachelor's degree in Audiology and Speech-Language Therapy from Ziauddin University, Karachi. With over five years of experience in clinical practice, telehealth, private consultations, and teaching, she is dedicated to helping individuals overcome communication challenges.

Trained in PECS and Talk Tools (Levels 1 & 2), Mariyah also specializes in infant and pediatric feeding therapy. Her passion for communication led to the creation of Words & Beyond, reflecting her belief that speech therapy goes beyond just talking. Based in Karachi, Pakistan, she is a proud pet parent to her Persian cat, Oreo, and an avid book collector.

Aleena Khan - Co-Founder Words And Beyond:

Aleena holds a Bachelor’s degree in Audiology and Speech-Language Therapy from Ziauddin University, Karachi, with over five years of pediatric experience in clinics, private practice, and tele-therapy. Passionate about evidence-based care and continuous learning, she actively mentors fellow therapists.

Aleena is an NLA-trained clinician and Talk Tools Level 1 and 2 certified. Based in Islamabad, she balances her professional career with motherhood, enjoying nature and reading in her free time.
